Teri Crowhurst
I have worked for over 20 years as a paediatric speech pathologist.
I studied at Flinders University then began my career by securing a new graduate position at Sunshine Hospital in Melbourne. Following this I worked in the UK for three years and then returned to Adelaide to work in community health settings providing services to children and their families in a range of different locations.
I have since worked in private practice and not-for-profit settings and gained a wealth of knowledge about supporting children and their families with communication difficulties.

I am passionate about providing early intervention to children and their families. I work with children on their speech, fluency, language and social communication delays. In addition, I have experience in supporting children with their literacy skills and it is a particular area of interest.
When I’m not working I love spending time with my husband and two boys who keep me very busy!
I am a member of Speech Pathology Australia and a certified practising speech pathologist.

I have trained in the following:
- It Takes Two to Talk program – The Hanen Centre
- More than Words program for children with ASD – The Hanen Centre
- SOS feeding course
- Key word sign (Introduction)
- PODD – pragmatically organised dynamic display books
- Lidcombe stuttering intervention program
- Sounds Write Literacy Intervention
- PEERS® for Adolescents – social skills intervention program
